چکیده
The genus Chenopodium is a that includes over 200 species and contains annual or perennial herbaceous flowering plant scattered almost worldwide. While belonging to the are used treat various diseases, modern pharmaceutical research has revealed their strong anticancer, antifungal antibacterial potential. In this study, some biological effects of botrys (methanol ethanol) extracts were evaluated by helping analytical approaches. antioxidant cytotoxic potentials revealed. 4 phenolic components in determined with HPLC technique determine activity TPC (total content), RPA (reducing power activity), DPPH (2,2′-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) methods used. MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay was effect on HL60 cell line. results showed both have important properties should be evaluated, especially ethanolic extract more effective than methanolic all aspects (TPC, capacity, cytotoxicity). As conclusion, it clear needs investigated further for isolation characterization new phytochemicals. We hope study could precursor future studies.
